The Rockport Art Association is pleased to announce a solo show of works by artist member Paul Ciaramitaro, in the RAA Pearson Gallery, April 1st through April 12th. The show will open with a reception on Sunday, April 1st from 2pm-4pm. Both the show and reception are open free to the public.
Paul Ciaramitaro, a lifelong Cape Ann resident, is recognized for his bold drawings and oil paintings. Paul creates full spectrum from semi-abstract, to cubist, to traditional styles. He is an artist member of both the Rockport Art and North Shore Arts Associations. A number of his works are part of the Cape Ann Museum permanent collection.
Ciaramitaro states: “A painting must speak. It has to grab you by the shirt collar and say, “Hey! Look at me!” Design is primary, color is secondary. When both balance each other, you have performed magic. Be brave and bold and above all experiment. Don’t fashion yourself after anyone – create your own way.”
